2022 Nissan Rogue | Greenville, MS

If you are looking for a well-equipped, fun-to-drive SUV with enough power and capability to haul your weekend toys and trailers for play or work, look no further than the 2022 Nissan Rogue. The stylish, nimble, and tech-savvy SUV will feature an all-new VC-Turbo engine under its hood for more intense drives.

The all-new 1.5-liter variable compression (VC) Turbo engine pairs to a new Xtronic transmission, which improves acceleration and fuel efficiency ratings, to generate 201 horsepower, 225 lb-ft of torque, and an EPA-estimated 33 mpg combined rating.[1] These numbers represent an 11 percent, 24 percent, and 3 mpg improvement, respectively, compared to what the 2021 Nissan Rogue delivers.

“Rogue’s new 1.5-liter VC-Turbo adds real-world value while providing more thrill behind the wheel,” said Mike Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales. According to Nissan, the VC Turbo engine isn’t just new to the 2022 Rogue — it’s the most powerful, advanced engine the automaker has produced in the U.S., notes Steve Marsh, senior vice president, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.

“With the new Rogue engine, the Decherd team will continue to deliver top quality powertrains that provide the thrilling driving experience Nissan customers expect from our vehicles,” he adds.
