Tuthill County Park in Flagstaff, Arizona, in September, Nissan introduced a lineup of NISMO Off-Road parts. These parts, which are available online and at Nissan dealerships, are designed to elevate the look, feel, and function of the 2022 Nissan Frontier.

“The all-new 2022 Frontier provides adventurers with an authentic midsize truck built to thrive in off-road and overlanding environments,” said Michael Soutter, vice president, Nissan Aftersales U.S. You will increase your visibility with the NISMO Off-Road 4-inch lights. Your love of exploring the great outdoors is a major reason you chose the 2022 Frontier. The NISMO Off-Road Rooftop Tent makes these adventures more fun and comfortable thanks to its wall-to-wall mattress and weather-resistant material.

Nissan Begins Production on Rugged 2022 Frontier

2022 Nissan Frontier | Greenville, MSProduction has started on the new Nissan Frontier, which has been redesigned for 2022. The midsized pickup is being assembled using collaborative robot technology in Canton, Mississippi.

 New Frontier

The Nissan Frontier is all-new for 2022 with a rugged exterior. The front end presents a powerful presence with a much larger grille, a slimmed-down hood, and angular headlights. The new Frontier is the perfect truck for city driving or weekends in the country with a standard 3.8-liter V6 engine delivering 310 horsepower, more than any other truck in its class. The nine-speed automatic transmission gives the Frontier powerful acceleration and good fuel efficiency. This rugged truck has Nissan’s latest infotainment and safety technology, with a standard 7-inch Advanced Driver Assist Screen or an available 9-inch color screen.

Cobot Construction

The Frontier is built in the USA in Canton, Mississippi, and its engine comes from the Nissan Power Train Plant in Decherd, Tennessee. Nissan has increased the role of robots in the Frontier assembly process. This collaborative robot technology, which Nissan calls cobot, is designed to improve the health and safety of the Canton plant workers by reducing repetitive stress and other injuries. Cobot technology is also increasing efficiency and vehicle consistency and quality. The Frontier is expected in U.S. and Canadian showrooms in late summer 2021.

Our team at James Ceranti Nissan is excited about the arrival of the 2022 Nissan Frontier. Stay tuned for updates on when it will be available on our lot!
