The popular Nissan Sentra is now in its eighth generation, offering you more advanced features than ever before. Here’s a brief look at what’s new in the redesigned 2020 Nissan Sentra.
The new Sentra takes on a sportier design, with a style similar to the Nissan Maxima and Altima. Its interior offers updated refinement and comfort.
This compact car gets a new engine under its hood for the 2020 model year. The Sentra is now powered by a peppy 2.0-liter 4-cylinder that delivers a more generous 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to having 20 percent more horsepower and 17 percent more torque than previous models, the 2020 Sentra performance is further improved with a new independent rear suspension, a new McPherson strut front suspension with twin-tube shock absorbers, and a dual-pinion rack electric power steering system.
There’s no need to upgrade to higher trims for the latest advanced safety. The 2020 Sentra comes with Nissan Safety Shield 360 as standard equipment in every model. High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking, and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection are all included in the package.
