Football players are often admired for their skill and talent. Now, there is an even more powerful reason to admire them: their charitable nature.
According to a press release from Nissan, the Tennessee Titans have teamed up with Nissan to support the Wounded Warrior Project.
The professional team recently donated $25,000 to the Project, which is a nonprofit initiative to help veterans that have been wounded in combat.
Nissan, meanwhile, has served as the official automotive partner for the Project, helping the organization in several other dimensions.
“It’s Nissan’s way of honoring the service of those who sacrifice so much for all of us, including their devoted family members,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president of Nissan sales & marketing and operations for Nissan North America, Inc.
Nissan is also the official partner of the Tennessee Titans. As per the agreement, the Titans stadium will be named after the automotive brand.
Together, these two titanic groups are giving back to veterans in a big way!
